"The biggest mistake is trying to start a skincare business without the right supplier. Your manufacturer determines your product quality, your cost per unit, and your ability to scale."

💡 The reorder rule successful brands follow

Most successful brands reorder before they sell out — not after. Running out of stock kills momentum and customer trust. Plan your reorder at 50% remaining inventory, not at zero.

As Jamaica's private label skincare manufacturer, Najah Chemist makes it possible to start with a single product, prove your market, and scale only when you're ready. See the full guide →

The honest truth

Why most people fail — and how to avoid it

Most people who try to start a skincare brand in Jamaica don't fail because they lacked money. They fail for three avoidable reasons.

01
Starting too small to be taken seriously
Ordering 1 litre is fine for testing. But launching publicly with 16 bottles and no reorder plan creates supply gaps that lose customers. Start small — but have a reorder plan from day one.
02
Choosing products with no market demand
The most common mistake. Picking a product because you like it — not because people are already buying it. Our most-ordered first product is soap. Know what your market wants first.
03
No structure behind the brand
Product without a brand is just inventory. You need a name, a label, a price point, and a place to sell before spending on formula. Our /start funnel walks you through this in 5 minutes.
Najah Chemist is a private label skincare manufacturer in Jamaica — but we are more than a supplier. We exist to make sure the brands our clients build actually succeed. That starts with the right product, the right quantity, and the right structure from day one.

Common questions

Answered directly

Can I really start with J$3,550?
Yes. Our lowest entry point is J$3,550 for 1 litre of Yoni Foaming Wash — a liquid formula that fills 16 × 2oz bottles. That is your formula cost only. You will also need containers and labels, which you source separately.
Do I need a lab or certifications to sell skincare in Jamaica?
No lab needed. Najah Chemist is the manufacturer — we produce the formula. You are the brand owner. For selling skincare in Jamaica, you should be aware of Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) labelling requirements. We can advise on what your label needs to include.
How many bottles or jars do I get per order?
It depends on the product type. Liquid formulas (serums, washes, oils, toners): 1 litre fills 16 × 2oz bottles. Thick formulas (body butter, scrubs): 2 lbs fills 8 × 4oz jars. Soap: sold as a set of 10 × 4oz individually wrapped bars. Containers are purchased separately.
Does Najah Chemist provide containers and labels?
Containers are sold separately — you can purchase them from us or source them elsewhere. Labels are your responsibility as the brand owner. Your name, your design, your identity on the product. We manufacture what is inside.
Do you ship outside Kingston?
Yes. We ship within Jamaica via Knutsford Express and Zipmail. Kingston and St. Andrew orders can be arranged for hand delivery. We do not currently ship internationally.
